BiG North Florida is a very “out of the box” innovative vocational community for adults with special needs where everything we make we sell in our gift shop, online, and in our community. We want to change the way our world views this population by taking the "status quo” of providing these individuals with custodial care to these individuals creating beautiful, marketable items to sell to help sustain the vocational community they enjoy everyday. They have become artisans, bakers, gardeners, card makers, jewelry makers, and more.

BiG North Florida provides meaningful and fulfilling opportunities to adults (age 22-up) with disabilities in the areas of: academics, social interaction, recreation, emotional and physical wellness, spiritual growth, and employment.  We presume competence in all of our participants and believe in their right and ability to effectively communicate.  Our community members work in collaboration, sharing their gifts and talents, in service of God.

BiG North Florida’s vision is to provide each individual with the opportunity to purposely grow and develop their abilities, skills, and talents, serving as a productive and valued member of our community.  We strive to build meaningful partnerships throughout northeast Florida in order to meet the needs of our participants and help them thrive.
